Our Ingredients

HMF uses the purest natural and organic ingredients in the products we make. We resource the herbs and product supplies from local sustainable sources who embody quality and integrity. We use food-grade ingredients when making our products, because we believe you shouldn’t put anything on your body that you wouldn’t put in your mouth!

The Products

Our products have grown out of our families’ and friends’ real needs. They have been developed and polished over time to be very effective in what they do. Many of the ingredients we use are wild crafted by us locally, ethically and sustainably. These products are used by real people living real lives… and from the reports we get back, they work! In fact, we use them ourselves every day.

Social/Environmental Responsibility

When we wild craft plants we have minimal impact on the environment, by only taking a small portion of the plants and never over harvesting. Lavender is a disease and drought tolerant plant perfect for this ecosystem. We fertilize once a year with organic pelletized chicken manure and water twice a year in the summer. We hand harvest without the use of agricultural machinery and use no herbicides for weed control. We use no till methods of agriculture and apply compost tea annually to grow the soil biology to help feed the plants.
